Tanja Kuczinski BSc (Hons) Chiro

Doctor of Chiropractic

Owner of Southwest Chiropractic Clinic

Tanja was introduced to chiropractic after she had a car accident and needed treatment for her whiplash injury. Chiropractic treatment resolved her neck pain and headaches. She decided she wanted to be able to help other people get out of pain and came to Wales to study chiropractic at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of Glamorgan. She graduated in 2004.

Tanja has developed a special interest in treating pregnant ladies as well as babies and children. However she has gained many years of experience in treating patients of all ages.

Tanja uses various treatment techniques which are tailored to best suit the individual needs of her patients. These techniques include the traditional chiropractic diversified technique, the more gentle activator technique, Western medical acupuncture (dry needling) as well as myofascial trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, kinesiology taping just to mention a few. For babies and children much more gentle techniques are used for example the ‘touch and hold’ techniques and cranial sacral therapy.

Tanja is registered with the
General Chiropractic Council
and a member of the
Scottish Chiropractic Association.
